What is Cosplay

Costume play or known as cosplay is a show art which people looking like a character usually in the anime, manga, comic, cartoon, games, and tokusatsu. To really looking as the character, people wearing some costume, accessories and other item related to the character that they want to copy that appearances.

Now many character from the Japanese made such as anime, manga and tokusatsu is the popular character as a cosplay or costume play. When you search on the internet for the example of cosplay, you will find many cosplay of Naruto, Sasuke Uchiha, Ichigo Kurosaki. The characters is very famous now, no wonder in some cosplay event you will find many people who wearing costume from naruto or bleach characters for cosplay.

Today many cosplay (costume play) conventions was held that gather many cosplayer from around the world to gather in one place showing their appearances to looking as anime, manga, and games characters. One of the international cosplay conventions that quite famous is World Cosplay Summit, an annual international cosplay event that promotes friendly international exchange through Japanese pop culture.
